As a measure to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the government has issued a “State of Emergency ” (7 prefectures with 4/7, nationwide with 4/16). our company Shodo Island Transportation Co., Ltd. is also suspending employees ’ special leaves and some operations and restricting operations. As Golden Week is just around the corner, we ask for your cooperation in preventing the spread of COVID-19 by reviewing the following information.
The company also operates our company Taxi Business, and in order to fulfill its mission as a public transportation system, its drivers are required to wear masks, wash their hands, ventilate inside the vehicle, and disinfect inside the vehicle.
However, as we are driving next to the ""infection"", we would like to ask all taxi passengers to ""wear a mask"" to prevent coronavirus infection.
Shodoshima Island is an isolated island, so if there is an infected person, cluster infection (group infection) cannot be avoided. In addition, the fact that there is only one designated hospital, ""Shodoshima Central Hospital,"" will lead to the collapse of medical care, and there is a high possibility that those who visit Shodoshima Island for visiting patients with chronic diseases, accepting patients with sudden illnesses other than infections, or giving birth will not be able to use the hospital. Therefore, customers who plan to visit Shodoshima Island for sightseeing or homecoming are strongly requested to ""stay at home"" during Golden Week.
